"What you see as a failure now might be one step in
an iterative process of improvement and growth."

I fail... a lot.

I recently did some work for KFC that didn't make it to production.
I was devastated because I really wanted the clout that came with telling people I've worked with KFC.

Social approval is amazing. It gets you into rooms, it allows you to charge more for your work & it gives you bragging rights. Don't make too much of a big deal out of it because when it's stripped away from you, you're left naked and groundless because you've given all your power away.

So be an island unto yourself & be your own refuge. What you see as a failure now might be one step in an iterative process of improvement and growth.

Your work doesn't determine your value. How nice is this bucket though?
