A couple of years ago the Edinburgh College of Art flew me out to Arusha, Tanzania for what would turn out to be one of my favourite projects.
The brief was to design and illustrate a research manual. It was
titled Everyday – Participatory Approaches to Green Energy Design and
it was meant to be a field guide for student conducting field research.
It was my first time in Tanzania so I really enjoyed this intimate rendezvous with Arusha. I also enjoyed meeting the professors and students from the uni for a wonderful cross-cultural exchange of creative and academic energies.
Thanks to Pushpi Bagchi PhD for this cool project.
